The simple "carnival – like" atmosphere that will promote a camaraderie between the residents of the south end, will serve as an opportunity to meet them and connect with them also in the coming days ahead.

1. There will be unlimited [until gone] hot dogs; chips/snacks; beverages.
2. There will be 2 bouncy bounce activity games; a "Monster Basketball hoop" and a 12 foot by 6 foot Sports Galore Game with "Basketball, baseball, football, soccer, Frisbee and bulls eye" for the older kids.
3. We will have "numerous" carnival activity games "Milk Bottle toss; Tic Tac Toe; Ring Toss, etc." each with prizes for the contestants.
4. There will be balloons and face tattoo's for the kids
5. Will have Holy Hip Hop artist Bishop the Nemesis performing live [holyhiphop.com]
6. ... and much much more!

The Event:

We will begin with signing up for drawings that will be held throughout the event. Grocery cards/ gas cards/ other business type cards or services will be given away. To qualify, we must have your name and address with optional email address. There will be various levels of drawings for families, youth and kids.

People will have the opportunity to play as often as they like, eat as much as they want and fellowship with whomever they feel comfortable. This is an opportunity to stem the tide of hopelessness, economic depression that many residents may be experiencing. It will also serve as an opportunity to begin bridging relationships between residents that may be involved in drugs, weapons and gang violence as we enjoy each other's company.

As the weeks and months unfold we will contact invite those that attended to participate in special occasions, i.e. Special guest speakers, functions, dinners, Harvest Festival, Pastor's appreciation, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Eve celebration, etc.
